Let Ergo Works fit you for an ergonomic chair that is ideally suited to your specific needs. Sitting in static posture for prolonged periods of time can increase stress in the back, neck, arms & legs, and put a large amount of pressure on the back muscles and spinal discs. Proper neutral seating in a well-constructed ergonomic chair can help reduce fatigue and discomfort, prevent the risk of injury, and increase productivity.

On-Site Workstation Evaluations
Our staff of trained ergonomic professionals provide ergonomic consulting services, including individual on-site workstation evaluations with the following objectives in mind:
- Identify potential ergonomic risk factors
- Improve workstation design and layout
- Instruct user on chair features, and review proper seating and posture
- Review optimum keying and mousing techniques
- Recommend correct ergonomic equipment, document location and telephone posture to encourage a neutral body position
- Discuss lighting issues and techniques for controlling monitor glare and reflection
Ergo Works® offers three levels of ergonomic workstation evaluation programs, based on your needs, time, and budget:
Option #1: Preventative Ergonomic Evaluation
This ergonomic workstation evaluation is designed for individuals or groups who are not experiencing discomfort, with an emphasis on problem prevention. The employee is trained on the essentials of setting up an ergonomic computer workstation, with on-the-spot corrections made during the evaluation. A Corrective Action Form is completed during the on-site evaluation, which outlines the problems and solutions. The form includes equipment recommendations and a floor plan of the workstation with recommendations.
Average time per user: 30-45 minutes.
Option #2: Standard Ergonomic Evaluation
This is recommended for early intervention for computer users currently experiencing discomfort. The employee is trained on the essentials of setting up an optimal workstation, with on-the-spot corrections made during the evaluation. The completed, type-written report provides an executive summary, user history, observations & recommendations, and a summary of findings.
Average time per user: 1 ½ - 2 hours site time + report preparation.
Option #3: Comprehensive Ergonomic Evaluation
This fully documented report is designed for users experiencing medical symptoms. The employee is trained on the essentials of setting up an optimal workstation, with on-the-spot corrections made during the evaluation. A comprehensive, type-written report includes photos of the employee's workstation and posture, and recommendations for behavioral, postural and ergonomic adaptive devices. The workstation design includes an easy to read floor plan with workstation recommendations.
Average time per user: 2 - 3 hours site time + report preparation.
Remote Ergonomic Evaluations
The Remote Workstation Evaluation is perfect where an on-site evaluation is geographically impractical or in times such as these where onsite evaluations are unavailable. The employee completes a brief questionnaire and provides digital images of their work area. An ergonomic professional will assess and provide recommendations based upon the questionnaire and images provided. Coaching and training over the phone is also available.
STEP 1: Schedule Date & Time and Provide:
Completed questionnaire and photos required to illustrate workstation, tasks, and body positions.
STEP 2: 30 Minute Phone Intervention:
One-on-one coaching, relevant objectives for risk exposures discussed regarding effort, equipment, and environment.
STEP 3: Report & Follow-up Phone Consultation:
Corrective Action report outlines findings and recommendations with preventative solutions and equipment recommendations as needed sent as a PDF document.
